Wiltshire Enterprise in partnership with Fibreplus Ltd, are offering FREE, one day Fibre Optic Introduction Workshops for Contractors who are looking to become Trained and Qualified in this exciting new area of work.

These completely FREE, one day Introduction workshops will include:

• Morning Session - Basic Understanding of Fibre Optic , Datacomms & Wireless
• Installation, Testing and Equipment overview
• Lunch
• Afternoon Session – Hands on - Fibre Optic and Copper Preparation, Terminating, Specialist Tools, etc
• Fusion Splicing – practical Fibre preparation and use of Fusion Splicers
• Introduction to Fault Finding and Installation Testing

Who can attend?

In short, anyone employed within the Industry who wishes to get involved with Fibre Optic, Copper or Wireless systems – from Apprentices to experienced Electricians or Electrical Engineers.

Where and When?

First Friday and Saturday of every month – starting in December 2010.
The workshops will be run at Fibreplus Ltd, Westbury, Wiltshire. BA13 4ES.
